• If you prefer knee-highs, try one of these accommodating choices such as boots with stretch fabric versions, styles with elastic inserts, or ultratrendy scrunch boots of soft, loosely cut materials.

Great start, but the advice is a little incomplete. I would like to add that there are a number of retailers online that design stylish boots that fit large calves.
